Background

Sinutab is a sinus, allergy and pain relief medication manufactured and distributed by the Johnson & Johnson corporation. It has been widely used to relieve the symptoms of cold and flu with associated congestion, including aches and pains, headache, fever, sore throat, blocked nose and sinuses.

To create awareness of one of their flagship products, “Sinutab Nasal Spray”, Sinutab worked with Branded Mini-Games to launch the “Sinutab – Clears Your Head” game, which challenged users to tackle flu symptoms by using Sinutab Nasal Spray and offered them a chance to win prizes.

The campaign increased customer engagement and successfully attracted significant numbers of new potential customers for Sinutab.



CAMPAIGN

Users have to rub Sinutab Nasal Spray on the affected areas indicated by arrows to clear symptoms such as congestion, and sinus sinusitis pressure. The quicker the user clears the arrows, the more points are scored. The game illustrates clearly how Sinutab helps people affected by cold and flu. After the game ends, users can enter their phone numbers for a chance to win Spa packages worth R1000.
